Well, it's a long story, man. Basically, one day this guy popped out from nowhere and without even introducing himself, immediately began to tell me about his military life, his 20-year old comic and that he was recently back from the middle east, THEN began to ask for sprites for "cameos" on his 20-year old comic, and offered me his original characters for a cameo, aka 2 incestuous lesbian sisters that according to his real life lesbian friends were "fuming hot" and awesome.
Puzzled as hell by this weirdo, I investigated a bit and after a few mail exchanges I found that his "20 year old comic" was just your less than average sprite comic and that his "original fuming hot lesbian characters" were nothing but recolored Public Doman sprites taken from psyguy's old site. (Some Megaman edits that resembled Tifa from Final Fantasy 7 to be exact. As you could guess, I rejected his request.)
Since then this guy has been butthurt and berserk, tossing incredibly infantile tantrums and ALWAYS talking about his days in the army, his 20 year old comic, how everyone keeps stealing his 20-year old original ideas and espeially about his lack of money. (First he claims that instead of paying attention to his "boring teachers" during his school days, he was creating his awesome 20-year old comic, THEN later he says that if you take any of his original, 20-year old characters he will sue you for everything you own, since he needs the money so badly. Duh, of course he needs money, since he wasted his chance of an education and nobody hires uneducated and unprepared guys.)
He also goes about how his recolored and stolen sprites make him a "professional cartoonist" and how he is free to take other people's sprites and even comics at his heart's content because the law says so (?) while also talks and talks about how he is attempting to sue the army for millions, and casually revealling that the "awesome" military career that he talks and talks about lasted only 1 year before they kicked him out.
Given his age (late 30's) and the fact that he talked about the first "desert storm" operation means that this should have happened around 1991-1993: In other words, this guy hasn't done anything of worth with his life in almost 17 years. He always wants to get something for nothing and keeps invoking laws, rights and suing threats when he can't get when he wants, plus according to him, I owed everything to him because "He was a big fan of mine" Riiiight.
At the other hand, yours truly owns a cybercafe and a computer repair shop, plus I've participated in a few education programs sponsored by the goverment where I went to rural zones in a mobile classroom to teach young and old people how to use computers, among other stuff. I also have (ocassionaly) collaborated with a professional cartoonist for a comic strip published at a nation-wide newspaper here. Because you know, I like to sprite and also like this comic, but this sprite comic is not my entire life.
And basically, that's all. I decided to dedicate this update rant to that guy because last week a couple guys emailed me about how Joe Pullin's site included a page dedicated to YEARS of his rants and bitching while cyber stalked me, stealing my comics and sprites, while also mrants and rants about how he was entitled to get awesome stuff from me and how this free comic, which I make for fun and out of obligations to anyone doesn't matches his awesome standards and therefore, I'm homosexual and I should be killed like all homosexual people deserves to.
Plus, he also rants and rants about how Dave Anez (The creator of the popular webcomic "Bob and George") is a fraud that stole all of his awesome and original ideas from him and therefore the attention and fame From Bob and George actually belongs to Joe Pullin instead. (Looks like Dave also rejected his guy's demands for cameos and free stuff.)
I have my immaturity moments (more often than I really wish) and I also have a temper, but this guy left me speechless. He hasn't changed or done anything with his life since the first time I met him years ago, he keeps taking other people's material to make his "20-year old, fully original comic" by force and he keeps bellyaching and cursing because he could't get what he wished YEARS AGO, therefore he earned a place in my front page, but I will NEVER post any link to his page, since he is an attention whore and I'm not going to give any free traffic to him.
Good grief. I guess that five years in the future, he still will stay the same.
